Nest cameras 2step verification issue

I change my phone number so when I do the two step verification the code is being sent to my old number how do I go around this thank you

Are using the Nest app or the Google Home App?

Google's recommendation is to temporarily turn off two-step verification before changing phone numbers, and then turn it back afterwards.
