Although the same issue is in the Forum, a solution is not provided, hence another try.
Whatever I try, I can't link Nest to Google Home. My Nest account is created in Google (not migrated, but directly created in Google!). I don't have a username, neither a password. (Login via Google).
Google Home needs the Nest username/password to connect. It doesn't exist! Even when I logon first, via home.nest.com, and use Google too login; still the Home app can't connect to Nest.
Please help! I have a Thermostat Learning
Thx!

I'm not really sure what your issue is, so I am making a guess.
I am guessing that you installed your Nest Learning Thermostat in the Google Nest app, but are unable to see it in the Google Home app.
When you install the Nest Learning Thermostat in the Google Nest app, it is supposed to AUTOMATICALLY appear in the Google Home app as long as you are logging into both apps with the same Google (gmail) Account and you assigned the thermostat to a "room" in the Google Nest app. However, in recent months many customers in this forum have reported this is not happening.
Many of these customers have done the following to fix the problem: In the Google Nest app, create a temporary second Google Nest "home/structure". Then go to that empty temporary home in the Google Home app and delete it. This apparently forces the 2 apps to sync, and the thermostat then appears in the Google Home app.

Great, after a long search, this is the answer I was looking for! Thank you.
I just renamed the room in the Nest app, to a name Wich did not exist in Home (fitness). Instantly the new room, with the thermostat, appeared in Home! Now it was easy to rename and move it in Home. Just a bug , but luckily ready to pass.
