Have Nest doorbell Gen2 wired. Have replaced 3 times and still have the same problem. Keeps going off line and if you put puck on indoor chime it will not ring. Have to leave puck off of chime for it to ring. I had gen 1 nest doorbell and had no problems. I’m going to have reinstall gen1 and return gen 2. I also have gen 1 camera with no problems. Help!

Multiple customers in this forum--including us--have found that they've needed to upgrade to a 16V 30VA transformer in order to get 1st gen Google Nest Hello Doorbells and 2nd gen Google Nest Doorbells to ring their indoor chime and work properly. Some customers have reported defective chime pucks with the 2nd gen doorbells, but it seems unlikely you've gotten 3 or 3 defective chime pucks, but who knows.

Hey folks,
@dennis4, thanks for reaching out to the Community. I’d like to check if you still need help with the Nest Doorbell (wired, 2nd gen). Have you had any chance to upgrade your transformer as suggested by MplsCustomer above? If yes, how was it?
Let me know if you have any questions.
I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.
Best,
Lance
