Nest hub & nest thermostat cannot be linked. Seriously?

Hi. It turns out that you cannot use the Nest Hub temp sensor to be linked to the nest thermostat.

nest hub=$49

nest temp sensor=$39

is that what you guys call same brand same ecosystem?

I’m returning my hub. Sorry Google.

We hear you, @Jcmm. We're always looking for ways to improve, and we appreciate your feedback. The Nest Temperature Sensor is not supported by the Google Nest Speakers and Displays because it was designed to be linked directly into the Nest Thermostat. But Nest Thermostats can be controlled via speakers and displays.
