Nest mini won’t connect and ring my Google doorbell

Hello, I have problems with my wireless Google doorbell connecting with my Google meet mini and making it ring. It has been some while and investing money into this product has turned out to be a bad decision. So if anyone knows what direction to point before requesting a refund please do.

Do you have "Push notifications" and "Visitor announcements" (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7672451) enabled for your doorbell in the Google Home app, and are your doorbell and Nest Mini in the same Google Nest "home/structure"?

I have Google nest mini speaker, and everything else mentioned should be done. They both appear on my home app and all the possible notifications are on. At this point the only reason it might not work could be that it’s faulty even though the doorbell shows visitors arriving…

• Can you describe the location of your Nest Mini speaker relative to your doorbell?
