Called nest support because I didn't see garage door detection in my Seen Events options- Support haden't even heard of garage door detection, they also didn't know what a garage even was. I could barely hear them as it sounds like they're at a club.
They then told me it isn't an option - Garage door detection isn't an option and I needed to hang up. I asked for a manager they said they will not give it to a manager as they have already 'answered' my question and insisted I hang up. Absolutely useless Google, you are a joke and so are all of your Google Home products.
Turns out all I needed to do was turn on Public Preview - would have been nice if support even knows a tiny bit about the product they're 'supporting'
