Nest shutting down my 3 cams

I'll never buy another nest\google cam again. I was sent notification that in 1 day they will all stop working. There's plenty of other cams out there that are better. In my opinion.

May want to reread the notice. It says April 2024 - not 2023

Even so... I paid for them and now they can shut them off at will?

@Radio53

Just to be clear, they are talking ONLY about shutting down the Dropcam (released in April 2012) and the Dropcam Pro (released in October 2013) one year from now, and offering to replace them free with Google Nest Indoor Cameras: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9244112

They are not talking about any of the other Google Nest cameras released since then.

And it is the older "Nest Dropcam", which hasn't been sold in years. This article has photos of the camera:

Lesson learned, if you don't control where your camera streams to, it's not your camera. Never buy Google again!
