Nest thermostat History

I have a Nest learning thermostat.  I am away and have been monitoring the setting. It has not been showing a history for several days.  Does that mean my hvac system is down?

Thanks for reaching out and apologies for the late response.

 

I know how important monitoring your HVAC usage history via the Nest App is, especially when you're away from the device. Most likely, either your HVAC system went down or an intermittent Wi-Fi connection caused the problem of not publishing the history or usage.

 

We can give these steps a try:

 

  • Uninstall and reinstall the Nest App.
  • Reboot your phone for at least a minute.
  • Sign in on the Nest App with the same email account associated with your Nest Thermostat.
    • Don't worry, it won't remove or delete the thermostat.
