My Google nest thermostat was purchased in April 2023. In July it disconnected from Wi-Fi and I could never get it to reconnect. I was going on vacation and it seemed to be working properly so I didn’t worry about it. It reconnected spontaneously before I went on vacation. Now that I am back it has not been working as programmed. I noticed that the date and time were way off. I reset that. According to the app ot disconnected from Wi-Fi again on Aug3. Now, I have tried to connect to Wi-Fi again and it will not. I saw an error code w5. Now my thermostat is intermittently going totally blank and not responding at all. This is causing my system to stop and start and I am afraid it is going to mess my system up. I have done a restart and now reset. So, I think all my history is wiped out. I have done all the troubleshooting techniques to no avail. I cannot get a Google number that will connect me to a human being for technical support. Please help!

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the delay and for the trouble this has caused you. Please charge your Nest Thermostat to a micro USB cable for at least an hour and check if the W5 code or message is still there. Also, restart your router. If the issue persists after doing so, you can fill out this form and let us know once done.
