Hi, We want our google mini announce when the nest doorbell has been pushed. Everything shows on google home app and both are connected to same network. But mini does nothing when pushed.

Have you enabled "Visitor announcements" on your doorbell (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7672451)? Is your Google Mini in the same Google Nest "home/structure" and on the same Wi-Fi network as your doorbell?

Yes visitor announcements are on and both devices are on the same WiFi network

And in the same Google Nest "home/structure"? (Some customers have more than one.)
Do you by any chance have "Do not disturb" enabled on your Nest Mini?

Thank you, The Do not disturb is not on. All notifications are on.

If you have "Visitor announcements" enabled, and "Do not disturb" disabled, and your doorbell and Nest Mini are in the same Google Nest "home/structure", and you are NOT getting visitor announcements, you could try contacting Support for assistance:

I went to the support page as recommended and it said reboot Wi-Fi and router. Did that and the speaker recognized the doorbell ONE TIME. Tried it several times after that and it would not work.

If you ring your doorbell several times in succession, it may not sent notifications or visitor announcements on the subsequent rings. Google Nest's cameras and doorbells all have some sort of undocumented cool-down period after events occur.
On the support page, if you want to contact support, click "Next step" on the "Resources" page to get to the contact options.

Thanks for clarifying that, MplsCustomer.
Hey GByulee,
Was the explanation that MplsCustomer able to answer your questions here, or is there more you still needed help on? If you have additional questions, just let me know.
Thanks,
Jeff
