I have 2 Yale locks. One is on the house door, the other is on the garage. We rent this property through Airbnb, and guest only have access to the house. The garage is set in privacy mode so guest can not use their passcode to enter the garage.
When we lose power and everything goes offline, does it still stay in privacy mode?
I want to make sure even though the internet is out, that guest will still not have access to the garage since it was in privacy mode.
Any help is much appreciated!!

Hi Diamondd002,
I'm sorry for the delayed response here. That’s a good question. Anyone with home entry only access or guest code won’t have the ability to access the lock when the privacy mode is on even if it’s offline. Only the owner and members who have full access can use their respective pass code.
Have a look at this article and let us know if you need more help: Learn about Family Accounts and how to share access to your Nest home.
Thanks,
JT
