No device found (chromecast ultra)

Hi i have problem with my chromecast ultra. I did set up everything thru my phone (Iphone X). After setting chromecast up, i couldnt connect to it thru google home app, so i tried with my friend phone (iphone 17) to connect thru Youtube and it did connect. Today neither of us can connect, beacause google home says there is no device when 1 is working, on both phones.

While your friend’s iPhone 17 was initially able to connect via YouTube, it appears that neither of you can connect now because the app isn’t detecting the phone devices; I’d be more than happy to help. 

To gather further details and troubleshoot this, please answer the following questions:

  • Are the Chromecast Ultra and your phone connected to the same Wi-Fi network?
  • Is Local Network Access enabled for the Google Home app in your iPhone settings?
  • Is Bluetooth turned on for your mobile device?
  • Is your Google Home app updated to the latest version?
  • Can you verify if there are any pending iOS updates on your iPhone X?
  • Do you experience this behavior just with YouTube or with other streaming services?
