No longer able to change color on Nanoleaf essentials matter bulbs

Since yesterday I've been unable to change the bulb color on my nanoleaf essential a19 lights connected via matter over thread. Other apps/services connected to the bulbs are able to do it just fine. It's just google home (either app or via assistant on nest hubs) that's broken. This had been working fine but just randomly stopped. It's affecting all my lights. This happening to anyone else?

I just started having this issue too 2 days ago. When selecting a color in Google Home App or on a Nest Hub, the color changes to a cool white instead of the color. An exception is I can change the to the 6 "white" shades in the initial light menu instead of the color pallete menu.

This is a very disruptive error for me and the 18 Matter over Thread lights I have.

I hope these version details can help in finding and fixing the issue.

I think the likely culprit was the update of the Nest Wifi Router October 21, 2024

Glad to see I'm not alone. I however do not have Nest wifi so the update may have been unrelated.

What thread border routers are you using? I'm wondering what other devices we may have in common that might impact it. I have a Nest Hello doorbell that was upgraded to Gemini this summer that I have suspected as introducing some weirdness into my network.

I have a couple of Nest Hubs (2nd gen), a Nest Hub Max, and a Google TV Streamer 4K.
