Hello Together
I have the following problem.
I have a Google Wifi router in one room that works without problems and is connected directly to my modem.
Then I have a second Google Wifi that was currently connected with Mesh. But now I have been able to set up a LAN (cable) connection to it. However, I have not noticed any increase in performance.
In numbers:
My Internet line has 500 Mbits Down and 50 Mbits Up
I also achieve this speed with my first Google WiFi, i.e. the router, and what is very important, I also achieve this speed via the cable that is connected to the second WiFi.
However, when I do a speed test on the second Google Wifi, I only get about 80-90 Mbits down and about 40-50 Mbits up. I have tested this with several devices directly at the AP. These values correspond exactly to the values that I also receive via mesh.
Does anyone have similar problems and can help me?
Many thanks

Hi Niriuqq,
Thanks for posting ― let's see what's happening.
A quick question: is your Google Wifi point hardwired to your main point?
Best,
Mel

Sorry for the late reply.
Yes the AP is connected directly to the Main Point

Hi Niriuqq,
Thanks for the update. Could you try to connect a laptop or computer to the Ethernet cable for the access point? This is to confirm if the Ethernet cable is working.
Best,
Mel

Checked it briefly on the laptop.
It works without problems, I get approx. 450 Mbits download and approx. 50 Mbits upload.
This is also what I expected.

Hi Niriuqq,
Thanks for the update.
Factory reset your network and set up the access point as the main point, and add the first point as the access point.
You can use the same network name and password as your current network so your devices can reconnect back.
Best,
Mel
