I set a routine to turn floodlights on at sunset and a separate routine to turn floodlights off at midnight. Now, I want these routines to run ONLY when I am home and go dormant when I am away. How do I do this?

Hi alexinati,
It's not possible currently to have a routine run when conditions are met.
Home and Away routines can be set up for whatever you leave or return home but routines can not check if you are home or away.
Have a look at the Google Nest help center link below for more information about routines.

Thx…next question…can lights be set at 50% brightness while on and then jump to 100% brightness once motion is detected?

Hi again,
No not currently but Google has said that they are planning more advanced features in the future to routines.
I use the free Home Assistant software running on a Raspberry Pi for advanced home automation features.
