Phillips Hue lights will not sleep or wake

Starting in August this year, Google Home stopped being able to "sleep" or "wake" the majority of my Phillips Hue bulbs. When the command is given, it acknowledges it, but nothing happens, the lights do not change brightness. I've tried unlinking and re-linking Hue from Google to no effect. Google can otherwise control the bulbs without issue (on/off, brightness, color), but cannot dim or brighten them over time. It doesn't work regardless of whether I trigger with a voice command or an automation.

Hi there,

It sounds like you will need to recreate the automation in the Google Home application. The process is fairly straight forward now because Gemini can create the automation for you based on your input: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/15684131

For example: I asked it "when I say sleep time slowly decrease the office light from its current brightness to 0% over the course of 5 minutes" it created an automation that decreased the brightness at 1 minute intervals over the course of 5 minutes. I would post screenshots, but this forum does not allow that.
