Play certain episode from Spotify or Apple Music

So I am trying to play audiobooks with Spotify or Apple Music, but I can't get my Google Nest to play a certain episode or just the latest. I can see from the prompt that it understands the command perfectly fine, but it just keeps on playing random episodes from the audiobook. The audiobooks itself are divided into short pieces, like songs in album, and many times it will not even start with the first chunk but randomly start anywhere inside the audiobook. This works absolutely flawless with Alexa so I am surprised that this does not work at all with Google home. Is there anything I can do to make this work?

Hi Stephan182730,

Thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear about the situation that you are experiencing with your Google Nest device while you are trying to hear audiobooks. But don't worry; help is here. I just need to ask for some information to provide the best assistance:

  • What Google Nest device are you using?
  • What steps did you take to solve the situation?

Once I have this information, I can continue helping.

Please keep me posted.

Best regards,

Jenny

Hi Stephan182730,

Thanks for your reply. I understand that you want to play an audiobook that is in another language that is not English. In this case, let me tell you that German audiobooks are not supported at this moment. I understand that this worked before, and this is not the answer that you were expecting, but we are sorry for the inconvenience that this may cause. Please, we appreciate your feedback. We're constantly working on improvements, and your input helps us shape future features.

Please let me know if you have more questions.

Best regards,
Jenny
