I have a Nest thermostat and using Google Home. I have set Presence Sensing to switch the thermostat to Eco when we are both away and to resume normal temperatures when one of us gets home. It worked fine through November 25. Then, it stopped detecting any phone. I noticed that on Thanksgiving (11/28) when we were out for several hours and the house was still warm when we got home. I have it restored on my phone, but it is not detecting my wife's phone. Her phone is on account and she has location services enabled always. Now, when I go out, if she is at home, I have to check my phone and manually take it out of eco settings.

1. I have a Nest Thermostat E
2. My wife and I are the only residents and she is invited on Google Home. The Google Home app has presence sensing on and is set to use both our phones to determine location. The Google Home app shows that her location access is on. She has set Google Home on her phone to use location services always. (We both us iPhones.) As I noted above, we have not changed any settings, but started having problems just before Thanksgiving.
3. The thermostat is online.
4. I can set the thermostat either using the Nest App or Google Home. (Scheduling is through the Nest App.
5. See 2 above.
6. How do you clear the app cache?

Thanks. We may have discovered the problem with her phone. Two days ago, I watched her change the setting to allow Google Home to access Location Services all the time. Yesterday, she had some problem with her phone unrelated to Google Home or Nest and had to force it to shut down. Tonight, when we looked at the Settings, Google Home was set to access Location Services only when it was in use. We changed that. We'll see what tomorrow brings. Thanks again.
