Routine listing every device

Hello,

Within the last week or so, my 2nd generation Nest Hub has started listing every light that turns on when I use the "I'm home" routine.  Previously, this was not an issue for this routine, and it hasn't been an issue for any of my other routines either ("Good morning", "Bedtime" etc.).  I'm exclusively using routines that are already established and recognized by Google as being common place enough that they are default routines.

I've already tried deleting and re-adding all of the devices in question to the routine, and I'm a little stumped.  There haven't been any changes to the household composition (smart aspects or otherwise) that would lead me to think this change was caused by an addition/subtraction to the network.

Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I’m having the exact same issue.  I didn’t change anything in the Google Home app or add any new devices, but my Google/Nest hub is listing off every alarm, light, door lock, etc when I say “Goodnight”. Pretty annoying…

Same issue. No idea how to fix it.

It's been 2 weeks since I posted this topic and I have yet to hear from anyone from Google regarding a solution.  This is incredibly disappointing.

This has also happened to me and I can not fix it! It's awful! My husband will use the same routine and when he does it it's fine. But when I say it, it lists EVERYTHING individually.  Google, please help!

Hi folks,

Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry for the trouble this has caused everyone. Let me help you out. Let’s try to refresh your devices and observe if it makes a difference. First, reboot your Wi-Fi router, and once the network is back up, do the same thing to your Google Nest speaker or display.

To isolate this, could you also try to create a new routine and replicate the actions, then observe if it makes a difference?

Keep me posted.

Regards,

Juni
