Routines issue

I have setup a bedtime. One of the actions set is to ask for "what time to set the alarm for". Once the alarm is set the routine ask a second time for what time the alarm should be set.

Is anyone else having the same problem?

Hi Sukhjits,

 

This is not the experience we want you to have; let us help you. A few questions: which Nest speakers are we working with? When did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made? What country are you located in?

 

It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first: 
 

  1. Unplug the power cord from your router, followed by your Nest speakers.
  2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes.
  3. Restarting your phone might also help.

 

Also, you can re-establish the routines by either removing the current one and creating a new one or editing the current routine  actions. For more detailed instructions, open this link.

@robertrodriguez, for us to be on the same page, may I know if you have concerns regarding Google Home routines?

I am in the US, it is the Nest hub(2nd generation). Have tried everything you mentioned. The issue has been going on now for about 4 months. There have been no changes.

Thanks for the details you've shared and sorry for the delay. If possible, are you getting the same response when you use another Nest speaker or display? How about using your phone’s Google assistant?
