Says wifi not connected though it is when used with a iPad air5

Have rebooted nest hub, deleted and reinstalled home app but when trying to use iPad to change volume or look at display/photos says not connected to wifi even though both are. Works ok with an android phone. Any ideas?

I know how important it is for you to be able to access and control your Google Nest Hub using your iPad Air 5. Let's try to get to the bottom of this. To confirm, has it worked on your iPad Air 5 before? What is the iOS version of your iPad Air? Are you using a dual-band router? How far are you from the Nest Hub when you try to control it using your iPad Air?

 

Since the issue is isolated to the iPad Air 5 only, I suggest that you check with Apple to see if there are settings that prevent your iPad Air from connecting with other devices.
