Searching for Media on Google TV Turned on Lights

I don't understand the logic of entering the search function of Google TV and saying 'Room on the Broom' and every light in my house turned on, waking my baby from a nap. What part of that phrase possibly means turn on all lights in every room?!

"Play Room on the Broom" or "search for Room on the Broom" might give you a different result.

I think Google would relate do something instead of nothing or the dreaded "I don't understand".

That makes sense in the context of asking an assistant, but this is the search function on Google TV - I would have hoped the search for was implied.

Something changed in that the search no longer seems to allow keyboard input, so my best guess is that by pressing the voice input button, it stopped being voice input for search and became just a basic assistant command.  In any case, most of the time if assistant doesn't know what to do it says something like 'I don't know but I found these results on search' - still failing to understand how Room on the Broom was translated to Turn on All Lights.

And no, I didn't program that as a phrase, lol.

You should treat your Google TV like you would a Google Nest Hub display or even your phone when using voice commands, as they can play media as well as control your smart home except they'll do it slightly different to each other.

Being specific in your commands will remove any doubt for the assistant to know what you want to do.

An automation with the phrase Room in a broom and accompanying action should rectify this issue if it's a commonly used command.
