Sharing Google Routines

I just want to confirm that Google does not allow you to share Google routines through apps - only through voice commands directly with Home and Mini devices. So the only way for different members of a household to execute routines through their Google Assistant or Home apps is by creating their own routines. Isn’t this a reasonable limitation to fix? I actually searched this on the Google Assistant, and it explained how to share Alexa routines!

Ditto on this.  There are "Household Routines" that can't really be changed (much) and "Personal Routines" that nobody else can share.  So, I have a fairly complex routine that sets "Evening Lighting", but my wife can't use it.

Perhaps a third category of "Shared Routines" could be set up so that anybody authorized for that Home can execute that routine.

I can understand some difficulties - my "Good Morning" routine might turn on lights different from what my wife wants.  But I'm sure we can work around that.

Thanks.

Hey folks,

We don't have any news to share when household routines are available, but all members can create their personal routine. We're always looking for ways to improve and we'll take it as feedback.

I also suggest that you send feedback using your devices by saying, "Hey Google, send feedback," or by following the steps on this link. Let me know if I can assist with anything else, otherwise I’ll be locking this thread after 24 hours.

Best,

Alex
