I was able to link my shark robot vacuum to Google home and run automations last week up until 9/19/2025. All of sudden, Google Home says ‘support coming soon’ when I click on the vacuum and I am not able to run daily automations tasks.
Shark app and Google Home app are up to date. I’ve changed passwords on the shark app and re-linked it multiple times. Anyone else having issues with their Shark robot vacuum in Google Home?

Hey it's a ongoing issue after Shark rolled out the last update. I used Google home as a backup automation for vacuuming certain rooms at certain times when the Home Assistant Intergration stopped working. From what I have experienced Shark integrations with Google and Home assistant are flakey at times. I am going to post a link to where you can read more from others but just so you know it is on a Home Assistant forum.

Yes indeed. I would switch to another brand but it's hard to find a smart vacuum that uses a dustbin to evacuate to after vacuuming. Call me crazy I don't want to buy the bags. I have three dogs and my smart vacuum is a great tool in my everyday war against fur.

Do you know how long these things take to be fixed by google/shark?

No I sure don't but being that it's a software thing and they will surely blow it off on the customer just not knowing what we are doing I would say it may not come quick. It helps for everyone to call that is having this issue. Just know that they will have you go through all the steps you may have already done. Below is the emailed response I received after I emailed them. Hope it helps. If you get yours fixed please let me know.
I had to type out the number because it wouldn't let me post the phone number

Shark royally screwed up this update (actually multiple updates at once). You would think they would roll out changes slowly to address any bugs that might arise, but nope. They updated the app, the robot firmware, and the Google Home connection app at once! So stupid.
I have now had an "escalated" case with Shark for almost 3 weeks because of the Google Home connectivity breaking. It worked perfectly fine before Shark's updates. Now Google Home can't run the vacuum AND it loses the connection completely at least once a day.
I just was made aware yesterday that SharkClean.com was just changed to SharkNinja.com. I'm sure these software issues are all related to a stupid branding issue.
I'm so frustrated and this robot isn't even 3 months old. I should have avoided Shark in the first place like everyone suggested.

Yes
this exact problem is happening to me. It seems we need to complain to the manufacturer. The message on my Google home cannot connect to shark. Display is shark offline. Also the default model number is not my model number. This was working fine until a month ago or so (9/25). The shark app works perfectly. just not on Google home!!!

Just bought the vacuum this past Friday. it ran for 20 mins and died "internal circuit" error they just sent the replacement and it worked fine. Got it all paired up with Google Home everything great. This morning i opened the shark clean app and it pushed an update. Now my vacuum shows off line and in automation it says "Support coming soon". What a joke. I bought it so i could schedule it to clean certains room on certain days . Unbelievably that is not an option on the shark app so figure i could have Google do it. this vacuum has been a battle

Yeah it's a shame. I liked the vacuum. It works well at vacuuming. I have bought a Roborock S7+ and it has no problem with Google Home. It did have an issue where it wasn't working with Home Assistant when I recieved it (and it's a standard integration) but I can make a work around by sending commands to the Google Home SDK as if I had asked Google to do it. Two days later a update came and kinda fixed it. I have the vacuum with like 34 items where I can see and control all options. Sadly it goes offline every night. Being a core integration they will get it fixed I'm sure because Home Assistant users will let it be known quickly when something breaks. The good thing thats what the staff do is make sure it works well.

I just bought the vacuum and I thought it’s only me, hope they fixed it soon.
