Show photos while casting music on hub.

It seems there was a change lately. For years my photos were shown on my hub while I casted a radio station during my visit on the toilet. Lately it only shows the casted radio station and have to swipe to see my photos. Allthough it's all automated by my smarthome I like there will be a bankroll like it was for years. Photos and music

It seems like the setup changed recently. If you prefer the old layout with photos and music showing together, try checking your settings to see if you can switch it back. You might also want to reach out to customer support to see if they can help restore the previous view.

Have checked over and over again seems there is no possibility to change. I go search for customer support and ask for advise.

Thanks for advise!

Hi Huspub,

Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry that you're having troubles with the photo frame on your Nest Hub. I understand how frustrating this can be. I'm here to help.

For your concern, please try the below steps:

Set up Photo Frame on your Google Nest display.

Use the Google Home app.

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Tap Favorites or Devices.
  3. Tap and hold your device's tile.
  4. Tap Settings > Photo Frame and adjust the settings you want.

Use your Nest display screen.

  1. From the bottom of your Nest display screen, swipe up.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Photo Frame and adjust the settings you want.

If you have Voice Match enabled, you can also say, "Hey Google, change Photo Frame" to open Photo Frame settings on your Nest display.

Also, your Nest display can show your Memories, which are collections of some of your best photos in Google Photos.

To show Memories, say, "Hey Google, show my photo memories." Your display should play a slideshow of your available Memories.

The first time you use Memories on your display, you need to opt in:

  1. Say, "Hey Google, show my photo memories."
    • If you find a card with "Show my photo memories" on your Nest display screen, you can also tap the card to start the opt-in steps.
  2. The Nest display screen should prompt you, "See your photos proactively here."
  3. Tap Allow and follow the steps.

You can opt into Memories on your Nest display if the following are true:

  • You're using the first account that was linked to the display.
  • Your Google Photos account has Memories.
  • Your Google Photos account is enabled in the Assistant app.
  • You've enabled proactive results on your Nest display. To enable proactive results:
    1. Open the Google Home app.
    2. Tap Favorites orces. Tap your Nest display.
    3. Tap Settings Recognition & Sharing Recognition & personalization.
    4. Turn on Allow personal results. Tap Always show proactively.

Let me know how it goes and keep me posted.

Regards,

Kevin
