I previously had the Google Wifi mesh network and recently upgraded to the Nest Wifi Pro (6-E) and my smart light bulb connections broke. I've been trying to fix them for a month now and they are very intermittent (along with my garage door and other devices). Even two light bulbs next to each other won't consistently connect. I thought it might have been that my device (Pixel 6 Pro) not being on the 2.4 GHz band while trying to connect, but there's no way to force the Pixel to use the 2.4GHz band. The bulbs started flashing after I switched to the 6-E setup anyway.
I don't think my devices are Thread or Nanoleaf compatible but hoping to avoid the cost of replacing every bulb.
Any help is much appreciated.

Hello DrGerg,
Thanks for posting here in the Community.
We can get your smart bulbs and other smart devices to connect to your Google Nest Wifi Pro network by moving out of range of the 5 GHz band and setting up the devices. You can put them back where you want them once they're connected. If that did not work, try using a mobile hotspot with the same name as your Wi-Fi network to set them up. You'll need two phones/tablets for this, as one will be the hotspot and the other will be used for the setup. Check out this article for more information.
Let me know how it goes.
Best,
Lovely

Hi DrGerg,
Have you tried the troubleshooting steps that I suggested above? Let me know if that did the trick or not, so we can try something else.
Cheers,
Lovely

I haven't had time to check out this solution but it seems like the best approach. You can close the ticket and will open another one when I have time to evaluate. Thank you.
