Smart thermostat

Hi my heating is coming on in the night when we are in bed I have set the timer to come on in the afternoon from 3 till 7 when I get up at 4 the house is like a furnace with the temp set at 24

i am registered disabled and have to watch every penny can someone help please I now switch the thing off on the app but sometimes I forget
