Spotify nest account vs mobile bluetooth

When listening to Spotify in my vehicle and some in my house asks google to play music it takes over in my vehicle. Is there a setting I am missing?

Thanks for reaching out! Spotify keeps pausing because the account is being used on two devices at the same time. If someone is using the account at the same time as you, every time the other person plays Spotify music on a Google Nest device (your Spotify account is linked), your playback will pause.
