Sunrise Alarm feature User Interface

So the sunrise alarm feature, when active, has 2 buttons on the display - one for 'Sunrise' and other for 'Stop'.

They both seem to have the effect of simply cancelling the alarm, right? Anyone know what the difference between them is?

Hi Wibbly,

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.

Good question, let me help you. You can set alarms to gently wake you up. When a sunrise alarm is set, the screen will gradually brighten until it is time to wake up. The two options that show functions are to simply cancel the alarm.

Check this link for more information about alarms.

Thanks,

Juni

So the two buttons do exactly the same thing - which is odd!?
