Hi, just had to share because believe it or not our Google nest/hub saved our bacon earlier today. Normally I’d be complaining about our Google nest and hub not hearing me correctly when I give it a command but this time it came through for us. Early this morning wonderful hubby woke up to find a massive huntsman spider on the blind in our computer room. This thing ( the spider) was on roids! It was huge! Hubby had to keep an eye on it in case it did a runner. So he called out to me but I was still asleep of course. He then took the initiative to broadcast a message to the other hubs and nests in the house and told me to get up quickly as he needed help! This of course did the trick and I was awake. The Google hub and broadcast allowed us to connect and work together so we could remove the intruder from inside the house. Needless to say we were on edge and looked around for another spider friend for most of the day. Hopefully, we won’t find another one inside for a while longer but with summer on it’s way I’m not too sure about this. I’ve attached a picture to show how big this guy was. Next to a 50c coin for size and yes sorry he is spider heaven in the photo.
