The experience of using Chromecast to cast YouTube videos on TV has become less user-friendly. I would like to provide some feedback:
1. Changes in the way videos are selected during delivery
Previously, when you clicked on a video, an option to "play directly" or "add to playlist" would pop up. This would prevent the originally scheduled playback order from being reset due to accidentally clicking on the playlist. Now the program plays directly after clicking, which causes the list to be frequently overwritten by mistake, affecting the user experience.
2. Changes to the playback control bar design
The previous control column was sunken so as not to interfere too much with operation. Now it has become a floating thumbnail, but it has been projected onto the TV. This floating window is of little significance. Instead, it affects the operation when clicking on the video. It also needs to be moved manually, increasing the risk of accidental touch.
I hope these UI designs can be adjusted back to previous versions so that the operating experience is smoother and more intuitive, avoiding unnecessary misoperations.
Thanks!
