I've recently purchased a Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd Gen and plan to have it installed this week. I attempted to power on the thermostat and connect it to my wifi network, but it continuously searches without detecting my wifi, which runs on a Google router.
Is it possible that the issue lies with the thermostat or my wifi connection? Or is it necessary for the heat link and other components to be activated and connected according to the setup instructions before proceeding?
I want to ensure there are no underlying issues that need addressing before the installation technician arrives to connect it to my boiler and other systems.
