I have 2 gen4 nest thermostats and 1 gen3 thermostat.
Presence sensing gets logged in the google home activity only from the gen3 thermostat. I see “The first person arrived home” in the activity log, then “Home switched to home” automation, then “Routine started - Home routine” automation. All this get logged in activity log as expected.
But none of this shows for any motion from the gen4 thermostats. I’ve tested to ensure these are the thermostats I walk in front of after away routine starts. So it seems the presence sensing is not working for these thermostats.
how can I fix this?
