Trouble With Verbally Pausing and Resuming Movies/Shows using my Google Nest

I’ve been able to pause, resume, and stop movies by verbally telling my google nest for 5 years. Do not know if it is my chromecast or my nest but suddenly stopped working. Any suggestions?
