Trouble getting face of nest thermostat wall unit to respond to touch

I cannot get my nest thermostat face to respond to touching. It still responds to changes made through my cell phone, just cannot enter commands manually. Anyone out there have this problem

I know it's confusing, but the Nest Thermostat doesn't have a touch screen. Please take a look at this article on how to control your thermostat and let us know if you need more help.
