Trouble turning the radio on and off from my Google Nest display

In the past I’ve been able to say “hey Google, turn on the radio” and my Google nest display will play the last radio station I have been listening to. 

Now when I issue the same command, my Google nest display will play the song  “Turn on the Radio”  by Reba McEntire. 

Similarly, when I ask Google to “hey Google, turn off the radio”, often google will play the “off radio” channel on TuneIn. 

Is there anyway that I can stop these two frustrating things from happening?

Thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing this problem turning on or off your radio. But don't worry; I can help. 

If your speaker or display doesn't play the radio station you requested, try these steps:

• Ask for "Play [radio station name] in [location]." "Play [radio station frequency] [location]" to turn on the radio.

• To turn it off, try with "Stop" or "Stop the radio."
