I have numerous Philips Hue lights both inside the home and outdoors. Each time as the days get shorter or longer in late summer/early fall or late winter/early spring I have to change my automation ( which I have set up with Philips Hue app) I have to use the legacy Hue app. However, with Google Home integration it is not easy to use my Hue app as I also have two Hue bridges. Can Google help with this automation using Home app so that I can change the start and end time of my Hue lights from Home? Hue app is far better in this regard and I have to use a burner phone with Hue app to change my Hue automation. The same issue applies to my other connected devices such as switches and outlets which I cannot control with Home app. Google needs to work on this. Thx

Good luck getting Google to work on it. They won't even fix their own device issues. You're better off to just continue to do it through the Hue app.

I am using a burner Pixel 3 phone with Hue app to do just that. Thx

Hi everyone,
Thank you for using this channel.
@GodsRaven, thanks for your feedback, we'll take note on that.
@bkconnected, thanks for the details you've shared. I understand that you want to use Google Home in controlling your lights in a more efficient way. You can use Google Home's routine feature and schedule a routine for when you need it, or start it whenever you want.
You can start creating a routine by following these steps.
Let me know if this works for you.
Regards,
Juni

Thanks Juni. I have few routines set up theo Google Home and I am aware of that. Using Hue app is the easiest and straight forward. I have many lights that I turn on and off and it is very easy with Hue app. Google Home is very cumbersome. Thx

Right? Google Home is just a great big mess

I wouldn't say so. I have a connected home and lot of devices. I like using Google Home and no doubt about it with so many devices I have. Google Home is definitely trying to make it easier and all in one place. Compared to Hue app there are few more steps i have to do. Maybe with Matter things will start to get more seamless.

I would like to think you're right, but the way things are right now, I'm afraid I see it differently. If Google starts to listen to o their customers' issues, then perhaps.

I wanted to know id there is a way to adjust the Hue motion sensor as few of the Hue lights are controlled by Hue motion sensors. I can only turn on or off that Hue light by Google home but cannot control the motion sensors which are triggered to turn on based on motion and only when it is darker. Is there a solution for that without going to Hue app?

Hi bkconnected,
I totally understand that this is a good feature to use with your Google Home app, but, this feature is not yet available. You may use the link provided in this thread to submit feedback as every bit of feedback helps a ton.
I'll be locking this thread in 24 hours. Feel free to create a new one if you have more questions or have other concerns in the future.
Thanks,
Juni

You'll take note on that? Uh huh. That means absolutely nothing will happen, you'll ignore it, Google again doesn't care. Whatever.
