Two Conditions for Routines

Is there a way to have two conditions for when Home Routines will trigger? For instance, someone comes home AND it is dark, turn on the lights.

Its easy to turn on the lights when someone comes home but why would I want to do that when it's noon? The whole point is to save energy and make life easier. So how do I make it turn on the lights when I get home AND it's dark outside using Google Home?

I appreciate wanting to create routines based around conditions, and I think it's a rather good idea. While I don't believe that it is a feature that is supported at this time, I was able to find this article that you can review. 

If it's not something that we have currently, I'm happy to send the feedback to our team to see if we can get that created and added.

The routines themselves work just fine. I just want an additional variable in there. Specifically for me that it is nighttime because I'm wanting to control lights that aren't needed during the day but I'm sure plenty of others would have other ideas with an additional variable.

I get wanting to keep the interface simple and allowing other variables can make it less so. So maybe have a toggle to enable it for those of us that are "power users"? That would also give the team feedback on how often this is being used.

Anyway, as it is I'm left with using Home Assistant which is fine, but it'd be nice to not have to have that running to do these simple tasks (turn on the lights when I come home AND it is dark).

I understand that you're not having with a problem with them working or functioning properly, but rather, you just want an additional condition to add. Which I'm happy to pass that feedback along to our team to see if we can add that in the future.
