Unable to add devices to a routine in Google Home on iOS

I don't see a label for 'home automation' so I picked 'Cameras and Doorbells'. Hopefully the right person will see this.

I have several home automation devices added to Google Home (smart plugs, light bulbs, thermostats).  As of yesterday I am unable to add devices to a routine in Google Home, and all of my old routines have been removed.

  1. Tap 'Routines'
  2. Tap the + icon at the bottom to add a routine
  3. Tap 'Add Action'
  4. Tap 'Adjust Home Devices'

I get a page that I assume should let me select a device to adjust, but no devices are shown, and there is no loading animation to indicate the app is searching for devices or anything like that:IMG_2E3419A3E546-1.jpeg

If I tap 'Settings' then 'Rooms and Groups', I can see the various devices assigned to each room.

This seems to have broken in the very latest update (around 5 June 2022).

I am having the same problem. I am also having a problem with adding or removing actions in my routines. All I can do is change their start order.

Seems like a bug. Hopefully there will be a fix soon, although there was an iOS update released today (6/6/22) and it’s still broken.

Use the assistant app. It still works like Home used to.
