Is there a web interface for Google Home that does not require an Android emulator to run it as a Play Store app? Our Nest Thermostat has a web interface, and we were told that web interface is going away very soon, because Google has integrated it into Google Home. This is a critical issue for us. It's enough to make you Go Bananas! Thanks

There is no web interface for the Google Home app. Google Nest's Vice President promised one in 2022 in this Sept. 29, 2021 blog post, but there has been no update whatsoever since:
"...we’ve also been working on rolling out a desktop experience for the Google Home app, so the new Nest cameras and doorbell feeds can be viewed and controlled from there. This will launch in 2022."
I'm just another Google Nest customer that's been waiting ever since.

Hey GoBananas,
We don't have any news to share about the web interface for Google Home app, we're always looking for ways to improve and will take it as feedback. You can also send feedback on your Google Home app. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns as I'll be locking this thread in 24 hours.

This should be available out of the gate. Here we are a year later, can't find anything.

Hey GoBananas,
I do not have any details on when new features will be added. The best route is to provide feedback to our Team. I understand that this is not the most ideal answer, and I am sorry about that.
Best regards,
Jake

Will it ever get answered and resolved?

The lack on a web interface is problematic, especially for those of us who are older than 40 and small phone screens are not as easy to see and use, especially compared to a web interface. When might it arrive? You're Google, wouldn't you agree there really is no excuse to not have this already?

Left feedback as suggested. No response. Be nice if you did a community poll on this to help drum up some interest.

Can you please tell me the "magic number" of times it takes and over how many years it takes, sending feedback that actually makes something happen? I've grown weary of efforts that don't produce anything other than more suggestions to send more feedback, which does NOTHING! Awaiting a meaningful response.

Hi GoBananas,
I know exactly what you’re getting at and the inconvenience that you’re having is understandable. We do not have any time frame as to when this feature will be released but rest assured that we’re on it.
Thanks,
Dan
