Where's the Nest confirmation email?

Came here to figure out why Nest Cam isn't doing events when on battery. Saw this post (https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Cameras-and-Doorbells/Idle-Camera-No-motion-detection/td-p/54...) which suggests it doesn't do what's advertised as doing and I'm hoping to Reply but I'm blocked because my email is not verified in Nest Community. I've logged in via gmail account and not received any further verification, and can not initiate one from settings anywhere. Help pls

Even having to post this type of query in a specific category seems old.

I’m sorry for the trouble this has caused you, let me help you out. To confirm, do you have an active Nest Aware subscription? When did it start happening? Also, have you tried any troubleshooting steps to fix this?
