My questions have to do with lights once they are assigned to rooms in the Home app.
I have around 20 Kasa wifi switches that were setup in the Kasa app. In addition I have 3 combination light and fan switches that were set up on the Smart Life app. Both are linked to the Home app.
Why are the lights grouped together in one icon/widget or whatever it's called? For instance, in my dining room I have the following lights on separate switches:
Light above my fireplace called Fireplace.
Ceiling Fan/Light called Dining Fan and Dining Light respectively.
The lights are grouped into 1 icon in the Home app called Dining Lights. When I press the icon or tell Google to turn on the Dining Light, both the Dining Light and Fireplace lights turn on. I can tell Google to turn on or off Fireplace with no problem.
I have the same issue with all rooms with multiple lights.
How can I see every device as a separate icon in Home and how can I just turn on one light when I tell Google to only turn on the Dining Light? It's worse in the Master Bedroom with 5 light switches all with different names.

Hello, have you tried reassigning the lights to the correct rooms? You have to create the rooms first then add the lights or other devices to the created rooms. Let me know if that helps.

Ok now I see what you are talking to.
Easy fix, just go into the settings on the main screen of the google home app.
Look under [General] for [rooms and groups] then select [Dining Room] and you should see the lights individually. From there you can select the light you want and reassign it to another room or group.
Hopefully that helps, be sure to let me know if that works!
