I currently use the home.nest.com web portal to monitor my Nest cameras and thermostat from my office using Safari on a spare monitor. With some problems, it's served me well for a couple of years. Now Google is pressuring me to migrate all my Nest devices to Google Home. I've been following the progress of the web interface for Google Home, home.google.com, for a long time. It's finally starting to look good. I don't have a problem migrating everything to Google Home except for two unanswered questions.
The first is, will this also migrate my Nest thermostat to the home.google.com web portal? I don't mean to the Home app; I mean the Google Home URL. The reason I ask is because I already see my cameras in home.google.com but I don't see my thermostat under (what I presume would be) "Climate Devices" like in the Home mobile app. This is very important to me during the winter with an oversized steam boiler resulting in my house either being a sauna or a refrigerator as it cycles. I don't want to have to be dependent on the mobile app to adjust my heating.
The second question is, and this would seem to be answered by the "Transfer camera to get event history on web" message currently showing in home.google.com, does this have the same features as nest.google.com? Is the camera history presented as a slider or as a series of triggered events like the Home app (which I find to be only a little better than useless)? I need the former to be able to tell, for instance, what idiot parked his car in my driveway.
The reason I ask is because when I click through that message to Google's "Transfer devices..." page it says: "While most features are available in the Home app, some features are only available in the Nest app."

Because nobody's responded to these two questions after three weeks it tacitly confirms my suspicions that the answer to both isn't what I want to hear.

I second your request to have climate devices added to the web version. Even just displaying current and set temps would be helpful as a start.

Same issue here. When will the climate devices be added?
