We just set up our new Wyze Camera V3 and Google Nest. The wyze camera's work when we go into the wyze app but does not work on google home on my iphone or the google nest. I have tried resetting, un-linking/re-linking and factory reset and syncing devices as shown on the other threads and it still says camera unavailable, can't reach this camera. What else can I try so it will show the footage on google?

Google has clearly given up on their smart home platform. They only care about $ from advertising. Hit them where it hurts use another search engine like Brave or Duck for screwing us over again.

Sadly seems to be the case. It’s amazing how $1 trillion company just turns off support for Google Home on Apple devices.

FIX (sort of). I have one v2 and two v3. I followed the instructions in the link below and now one of my v3 streams video on the Google Nest hub. Not sure why the other two don’t. But it looks like this worked for others as well.

Having the same issue, which is annoying because my new V3 camera streamed on my google nest for two days straight with no problem and then yesterday just stopped streaming.

I have a solution for V3 users. You have to use the CamPlus 30 day trial on one of the cameras, then go to settings and scroll to the bottom and click "RESTART" camera. Close both Wyze and Google Home apps and restart Google Home. You should see the live stream after a couple minutes while the camera boots up.
To enable multiple cameras, go to the Wyze app and click on the "Cam Plus" shield icon, and click on manage subsciptions, then manage cameras. Uncheck the current camera, and check another camera on the network. Then go back to the new camera and click settings, RESTART. Do this for any subsequent camera and they will all show up on the Google Home App.
Finally, you can disable the subscription anytime before the renewal date and all the cameras will continue to work.

Same issue here. Had successful connection a couple of times. Reported problem about a year ago. No support, no fix. Time to report to BBB.

I can not link my Wyze camera to google home. It works fine with my Alexa system. What is up google. Any updates??

Here's the solution. Say Ok Google, sync my devices.". Afterwards, the wyze cams will be visible in Google home.

This does not work for Wyze cams On iPhones and iPads.

What worked for me is going to settings, and under services click works with Google, and then I clicked my Wyze account and I reconnected. After re-logging into Wyze, both my Google Home hub and my phone Google Home app can now access and stream my Wyze camera.

On Android? Or iOS? 🙂

This solution worked! 👏 😁
Thanks to this forum, we successfully linked our Wyze account in Google Home, added the cameras into their own rooms, and were able to stream individual camera live views (from the v3 wired cams,"Hey Google, show [room name] on TV") to our Hisense smart TV running Google TV. The setup worked very reliably for about a year.
Then a few days ago, the cameras just stopped streaming and Google Assistant started responding with this message: "Sorry, it looks like [camera name] doesn't support streaming to remote screens." However, the cameras were still viewable in the Wyze app on multiple iOS devices, and they still appeared in the Google Home app. Some of the cams also have Cam Plus subscriptions.
The Google Home app must have randomly dropped the sync for whatever the reason, and reconnecting our Wyze account restored the streaming capability to our TV.
Also, just to confirm the previous comments, the Wyze cameras have never been viewable in the Google Home app on our iOS devices. They all display this message: "Live video unavailable. The camera may be unreachable or saving battery." As expected, though, our Nest cams do function in the app, and on the TV. But since our primary objective was to view the cameras on the TV, this fail hasn't been a concern.

They only work on Android phones. So I finally deactivated all of the Wyze cameras in my house. Wyze doesn't support them on anything but Android. I wish I knew that before spending so much time and effort on Wyze. I won't make that mistake again.

Do you know of any other manufacturers cams other than Google Nest cams that are supported on iOS by Google on Google Home app? If so I would try them as well.
Fyi, it may be finger pointing that does not perhaps matter, but it looks to be Google that is not completing the interface for Wyze Cams on iOS.
From posts on Wyze Forum, it does seem that Wyze techs have been trying to get this fixed with Google techs for the past year…

I did a little homework on this ... Google is not supporting others fro live streaming on Google Home app either...
"Is eufy compatible with Google Home?

Ring cams
"you can't view the live feed from your Ring devices in the Google Home app or on Google Nest Hub."

Hey Google Support! Why would you allow a camera vendor to put “works with Google “on their product when all evidence suggests that it certainly does not? I’ve purchased several third-party cameras, all say they work with Google and Alexa, and guess what? They all work with Alexa… Not Google. Wyze and Aqia cameras, so now I have to use three apps for my smart devices instead of one. I really used to be a Google fan, but Alexa is looking a hell of a lot better now..

I agree 100%. It will not work on an iPhone. But it will barely work sometimes on android. I wish I never would have purchased the nest thermostat too. The nest app worked perfectly. The new google home app is terrible.

bumping. not working here either. wyze cam v4 & iPhone Google Home App

Hasn’t for years at this point. Wyze cameras only work on Google Home Android. iOS, well there was some blame game going on, but now it appears to be a lost cause, like so much these days.

Wyze does work with Google TV Chromecast .. just not the iOS devices …

I continue to have this same issue, it's SO frustrating. I have 4 Nest cams and 2 Wyze cams the Google Home app on my Samsung Galaxy S24 shows the Nest cams just fine but the Wyze cams only show maybe once every 10 attempts, but mostly just show a black screen and progress circle at the top right, or give the same error message others mention. I'm losing so much faith in Google Home it's obvious they don't care about effective integration or they'd be working with Wyze and others. Matter protocol isn't gonna matter (pun intended) if these companies don't care about the products actually working. I've started just using the Wyze app directly and I think I'm going to replace all the Nest cams with more Wyze, as the Wyze cams have WAY better resolution and features for a quarter of the price.

I have an update! 😁
Google TV has a new feature and Wyze camera streaming works now!
There is a new Google Home tile in the Google TV settings menu, and because the Hisense TV is an Android device, the Wyze cameras DO SHOW. I am able to select any of my cameras from my Google Home favorites list to live stream on my TV.
As previously noted, the cameras are linked in the Google Home app on my iPhone/iPad. They are also added in the Favorites section.
Then do this:
Here is Google's official support page on this topic.
Some additional notes on the previous setup: it was working intermittently but something permanently failed about 2 weeks ago and the Wyze cameras stopped streaming. The weird thing is that Google Assistant isn't giving any errors this time. In fact, the Assistant just says, "Sure, streaming [room name] on TV" but nothing happens and the screen doesn't change. This is still the case, even after multiple relinking attempts, reboots, camera restarts, etc. So, the trade-off appears to be that we are unable to control the cameras using Google Assistant, but that's a much lesser issue.
So far, using the Google Home viewer has been reliable and we are relieved to be able to finally live stream the cameras again .... and without all the drama!
Hooray! 👏
