I bought mine from Amazon Ordered on March 10, 2022. So I took a look at the reviews on Amazon and was sorry that I didn't do it before purchasing. It does validate that other customers experienced the same issue at previous other times.
Same problem here. Google home won't connect to cloud intelligence. It was working fine. I moved it to a new room and assigned it to a new room name. Now the plug connects to the loud intelligence app, but Google home app will not connect to cloud intelligence.
My 4 cloud intelligence plugs suddenly stopped working today via Google Assistance on 6/9/2022. I reset all of them, and reboot router, they can be controlled via Cloud Intelligence App, but Google Assistance can't even bind with the Cloud Intelligence account anymore.
I've got xactly the same problem. Started last night 09.06.22 about 10pm. On Google Home showed lamp off line. So I've tried to reconnect without any luck. Then I've took it off GH and tried to add it again with message "could not reach .." I've reinstalled Cloud Intelligence app. And still the same GH could not reach CI 😕
