My nest cam is associated with someone else’s email. Can’t set it up

There are a couple of reasons this can occur. One is if you purchased your Nest Cam from another customer and they failed to remove the camera from their Google Nest app or Google Home app while still connected to their Wi-Fi network, and then did not do a factory reset. The remedy here is to have the previous owner remove the camera from their Google Nest app or Google Home app and then do a factory reset.
Another is if you changed your Wi-Fi network and failed to remove the camera from your Google Nest app or Google Home app while still connected to your old Wi-Fi network, and then did not do a factory reset. (Google Nest does not check whose email the camera is associated with; it could be yours.). You MIGHT be able to resolve this by doing a factory reset.
If you can't resolve it, you may need to contact Support (https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp) for assistance in resolving Google Nest's restrictions. Here are a couple of Google Nest's Help topics on this issue:
