Hi all, I have multiple google home speakers in my home, and I have a 2nd gen nest mini in my garage.
I would like to enable sound detection on this mini so it can listen for glass breaking.
When I look in my nest app I don't see the option for sound detection, it is no longer in my settings.
I have a nest aware account, it is used on my nest doorbell. I know I have used sound detection in the past, was it removed from Nest aware recently?
I'm in Canada if that matters.

Hi Thebirdsnest,
Thanks for posting in the community!
I understand that you're looking to activate the sound detection feature on your Google Nest Mini (2nd gen) to help you detect glass breaking, but you're having trouble finding the option in the Nest Aware settings. Don't worry; I'm here to help!
I've checked into this, and I just want to let you know that sound detection is currently only available for users with a US address. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. You can find more information in this article that talks more about sound detection for speakers and displays.
We're always working to improve our products and services. If you'd like to share your feedback about sound detection, feel free to do so through this feedback form. Your input will help us prioritize future improvements to our products and services.
In the meantime, if you have more questions for me, feel free to reply to this post. I'll be happy to assist further!
