To Google Support / Google Nest Team,


I am writing to reiterate my request for the introduction of Polish language support for Google Nest devices in Poland and to highlight the significant accessibility issues caused by its absence. I am a user of Google Nest products, including [Google Nest 2, Google Nest Mini 2, Nest Doorbell (battery), Nest Hello Video Doorbell], and a resident of Poland.
While I appreciate the potential of Google Nest devices, the current lack of Polish language support creates a substantial barrier to their use, particularly for vulnerable members of my household. Specifically, older family members who do not speak English and children are unable to interact with the devices effectively using voice commands or navigate the interfaces. This severely limits the independence and benefits they could gain from these smart home products.
Smart home technology should aim to be inclusive and accessible to all users. By not supporting Polish, Google Nest devices alienate a significant portion of the population in Poland, including the elderly and children, who could otherwise benefit greatly from features that simplify daily tasks and enhance connectivity.
Introducing Polish language support is not just a matter of convenience; it is a matter of accessibility and inclusivity. It would enable these currently excluded user groups to fully participate in and benefit from the Google Nest ecosystem.
Poland represents a valuable market, and providing full localization, including comprehensive language support, is essential for truly serving its diverse population and unlocking the full potential for growth in the region.
I urge Google to recognize the importance of linguistic inclusivity and prioritize the urgent implementation of Polish language support for Google Nest devices. This would be a crucial step towards making your technology truly helpful and accessible to everyone in Poland.

To Google Support / Google Nest Team,

I am writing to express my significant disappointment and frustration regarding the unavailability of the Nest Aware subscription service in Poland. I am a resident of Poland and a user of Google Nest devices, including [Google Nest 2, Google Nest Mini 2, Nest Doorbell (battery), Nest Hello Video Doorbell].

I chose to invest in the Google Nest ecosystem based on the features and capabilities advertised, many of which are significantly enhanced by the Nest Aware subscription, such as extended video history, intelligent alerts, and activity zones.

However, I have discovered that despite owning and using compatible Nest devices in Poland, I am unable to purchase a Nest Aware subscription because the service is not offered in this country. This situation puts me, as a customer in Poland, at a significant disadvantage compared to users in regions where Nest Aware is available.

The lack of access to Nest Aware severely limits the functionality and value I can get from my Nest devices. I feel that I am not able to fully utilize the products I have purchased, and the intended security and monitoring capabilities are significantly reduced without the subscription.

This unavailability is particularly frustrating as it seems like an arbitrary geographical restriction, leaving loyal customers in unsupported regions without access to a core service that enhances their devices.

I urge Google to make Nest Aware available in Poland as soon as possible. Extending the service to this market would not only allow existing customers like me to fully benefit from our Nest devices but also likely encourage wider adoption of the Nest ecosystem in Poland.

Please consider this feedback as a formal complaint regarding the current situation and a strong plea for the expansion of Nest Aware availability to include Poland.

At the same time, I would like to reiterate how crucial the introduction of Polish language support is. It is surprising that Google Assistant is capable of communicating in the languages of countries with a significantly smaller population than Poland – such as Denmark, Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, or Portugal, for example. Poland, with a population of around 38 million people, constitutes a significant market, and the absence of the native language is a serious barrier, making it difficult, and often even impossible, for many users, including the elderly and children, to fully utilize these devices.

I hope that this argument will be taken into account when setting development priorities and that we will soon be able to enjoy the full functionality of Google Nest Hub in Polish. Sharing feedback via the form is important, but drawing direct attention to this disparity also seems relevant.
