4th Gen no longer linking to Google Home

Just bought 2 new 4th gens and after a few days one stopped linking to google home app. I tried a factory reset and it still won't connect. The thermostat works just won't connect to google home.

What is the estimate of when this will be resolved?  How will it be communicated?  Why does it take over a week to solve this issue?

I’d like to move back to a Gen 3 but your website no longer sells them????  I thought you were only discontinuing support for Gen 1 and 2?  If your Gen 4 TStat isn’t communicating to the only app it works with, you need to make the Gen 3 available!  I am unable to access my programs in the Gen 4 stat because Google Home isn’t working!
