I have a heat pump with Aux heat and I wire my nest to what I believe is correct. I get hot air when trying to get AC, Ive tried switching the O/B equipment setting but no luck.
I have a Honeywell thermostat I'm trying to replace. I'm attaching both my original Honeywell and the Nest wiring. Any help would be appreciated.

Great job on the wiring. That's what I would recommend.
Just checking, but you have tried the?
If your system starts to blow cool air when your Nest thermostat is in Heat mode (or if it blows warm air when it's in Cool mode), change the settings for orientation of your heat pump.

Thanks. I'll take a look at the setting again, but I'm pretty sure I flipped it to B then back to O when it didn't work. I'll test it again. It won't let me test cooling cause the temp has been below a certain degree, but when I tested heat the air blowing out seemed to be at room temp. I may pop a thermometer in the vent to double check the air temp coming out of the vent.

Try doing a reset to factory default if it still doesn't work.
